Amazon Prime’s children’s tv series Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street follows the adventures of Gortimer and his friends in their not-quite-normal neighbourhood. The episodes weave animation within their live-action format to tell stories within the drama. This clip is from one of the oil-paint animation sequences Em Cooper created for series 1 of the series in 2015: Episode 11: Gortimer and the Surprise Signature -Gortimer finds out what it feels like to be shy.

The series was nominated for a Daytime Emmy and this episode won the Humanitas Prize in 2016
